Q: What can you use as a mix for your terra torch?

A: Regular gas mixed with a gel agent, or flash. You can also use jet-a for better mix.

Q: Where do you mix it, and, how? Is it in a separate tub, or, in your terra torch? Do you just pour
     in the mix?

A: The torch is also a mixer. It can be mixed in the unit, or, can be mixed in a separate unit,
then pumped into the unit via a dry-break valve (emco wheaton).

Q: Can a helicopter hold it, or, bring it to a location?

A: This unit is a terra torch, and, not a heli torch. Although it does have attachments so a helicopter can
pick it up, and, relocate it to a remote area.  This unit is equipped with bottom mounts so it can be
loaded on pickup bed, and, trailers. NOTE: I also have one that can be mounted on the back of my
     dozer.

Q: What is it designed for?

A: This unit is designed for controlled burns, and, fireing on wildland fires.

Q: What is the lighting mechanism, or, how do you light it?

A: Electronic, or, Mapps Bottle (I have found the Mapps is more effective, and, with less problems)

Q: What is the Approximate weight, and, size dimensions?

A: The weight, and, size depends on the tank size requested at time of build.

Q: How many gallons does it hold?

Q: How long does it last per fill?

A: This varies on the operator, size of tank, the size tip that is being used, and, fuels being lit.
The one that I use is a 120 gallons. I have found with good lighting coditions, I can get about
1 mile of line lit in about one hour, or, 4 hrs. with a # 10 tip.

A: Same as required to be on any wildland fire, training in the use of, and, safety of the torch.
